Tamar Hoff-Nir DDS
At the age of 12, Tamar Hoff-Nir, who was originally from Israel, relocated with her family to Dobbs Ferry, NY. She attained a BS in Biology from The University at Albany, followed by a dental degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She then finished a residency program at Columbia University School of Dentistry and The Presbyterian Hospital.
For more than 25 years, Dr. Hoff-Nir has been practing general and cosmetic dentistry in Manhattan, Long Island and Westchester County, NY. During this time she has attended countless hours of continuing education courses to enhance her expertise and skills in all phases of clinical dentistry including dental implant restorations and clear aligner therapy. In addition to her passion for restorative, reconstructive and cosmetic dentistry, she is also highly skilled in Invisalign, root canal therapy, implant restorations, as well as sleep apnea and snoring therapy.
Furthermore, Dr. Hoff-Nir is adept in administering neuromodulators like Botox and Xeomin to treat fine lines and wrinkles on the face, and hyaluronic acid like Restylane to enhance mid and lower facial volume.
Her dedication to training, keen eye for detail and incorporation of the latest advances in denta technology contribute to Dr. Tamar Hoff-Nir’s success in the state-of-the-art dental care she provides her patients.

Nina Beck RDH
Dentistry is woven into the very fabric of Nina’s identity. As the daughter of a distinguished general dentist, the doors of the dental world and the intricacies of patient care are almost second nature to her. Nina's pivotal role encompasses overseeing dental wellness visits as Dobbs Dental and Cosmetics leading hygienist.
But Nina's dedication doesn't stop within these walls. She also volunteers for the Colgate’s Bright Smiles, Bright Future Program and the NYS Mission of Mercy’s Special Olympics Special Smiles. These noble ventures have enriched her expertise, particularly in caring for children with diverse needs. Away from the spotlights of dental care, Nina finds joy in the company of her cherished family, friends, and her adorable rescue companion, Gunda, the fur puppy.

Diana Burgos
Diana has been an office manager for several years and is extremely passionate about making sure your dental appointment goes as smooth as possible. From appointments to dental paperwork as well as great conversations, Diana will be there every step of the way to help answer questions or concerns about your experience here at Dobbs Dental and Cosmetics!
